Vandalism

It turns out that there was some gang-related vandalism in Annandale (several miles down the road from me) a day after my car window was bashed. It's not the same, but at least it indicates a certain mindset that was hard for me to believe existed.



On a somewhat related tangent, I also read the Washington Post article about the graffitti artist known as BORF. He was caught yesterday along with some of his friends who were helping him. My favorite one is below, just for the sheer guts of where it's located.



The statements that the kid made about rebelling against growing up reminded me very much of a friend of mine who will soon turn 39.

And yet Cool "Disco" Dan is still on the lam. Fight the good fight, brother!

Maybe Cool Disco Dan was Borf's mentor, like an Obi Wan Kenobi of the graffitti/stencil world.
